Leading up to July 4th Around Lake Norman
With summer time in full swing, July Fourth is just around the corner. “July fourth is one of our busiest weekends of the year on Lake Norman here at the marina,” said Lowry Hobbs of Westport Marina. “So many people have reserved our rental boats for the long July Fourth weekend and we will see hundreds of guests and lake lovers come through our marina over the weekend!”

June 25 at 6:00pm
Bailey Road Park
Celebrate summer and spend an evening at the Charlotte Symphony. This open air concert is perfect for a picnic, so don’t forget to bring your blankets and chairs! The KidZone will be provided by Journey Church, and food and drink will be available for sale. Gates open at 6pm and fireworks will immediately follow the performance. Make the evening one to remember and bring the whole family.

Enjoy putt putt, DJs, live music, vendor sponser booths, cruises, dinners, a fire dancer and fireworks in the cove at 9pm!
July 4 at 5:15pm
Downtown Davidson 4th of July Parade
Want to participate in the parade? Those in it are encouraged to wear red, white and blue and can decorate bikes, wagons and pets to march alongside in the parade down Main Street. People will begin lining up for the parade at 5:15pm at the Davidson Elementary School parking lot located on South Street. The parade goers will continue from there down Main Street.

What better way to entertain the kids for the day than with face painting, balloon twisting, arts and crafts, bike decorating station, parade and Fire Department water fight? Oh, and did we mention the event is free?

Join Carowinds for their biggest fireworks show of the season. Grab your family and a blanket and watch them light up the sky to celebrate the birth of America.
